How to Root LG G2 on Android 4.4.2 KitKat
Rooting helps to get much more out of your android device i.e you can remove built-in system apps or increase RAM by swapping etc.
Note: You should root at your own risk because after rooting system files can be modified easily so if any system file is modified, deleted or changed then it may brick your device or make it useless so always be careful however you can always find out millions of methods on the internet about mobile phones and you can try them to solve your particular problem.
Before rooting, make sure you do the following:-
- Backup your data including contacts and SMS/MMS on internal storage because if something goes wrong then your data might possibly be gone.
- Make sure you have the LG G2 on 4.4.2 KitKat, don’t try this method with any other Variant.
- (If you have some other variant of the LG G2 on 4.4.2 KitKat, then you can search for the post in my blog.
- Antivirus program must be disabled before running this process on your Windows PC.
- Also Set USB Debugging Mode to “ON”. If USB Debugging option is not available then go to "Settings>About>Software version>tap Baseband version 7 times to make USB Debugging option available in the Settings.
- Also make sure that your phone is charged at least 60% so that it does not goes off in the middle of the rooting process.
- Set Debugging Mode on through Settings>Developers and then check the box.
- Note: If you follow all my steps then everything will go fine but if you do anything wrong then we will not be responsible for any damage caused to your phone.
